Upgrade and Expansion of the Existing Water System (C2)

ConEx’s scope of work involves remodeling of the primary and secondary domestic water supply systems at Salt city (located 20 km West of Amman city).

The pipelines are being replaced by ductile iron main pipes (total length of 56 km with a diameter ranging from 4” to 16”), secondary polyethylene pipes (total length of 140 km with a diameter ranging from ¾” to 2”) and galvanized from ½” to 1”).

The work on the project commenced in January 1995 and is scheduled to be completed by January 1997.
