The actual infra-structure works included selling up distribution networks for hot water, telephones and electrical and low current networks. The latter required generators, 33 and 11 KVA main substations and compact packaged outdoor 0,4 KVA main substations. The contract further required street lighting and systems for fire alarms and lighting protection. In addition, storm water drainage and culvert systems, a water supply network, systems for sewerage and irrigation roadworks, parking area and pavements were needed.

Extensive external works were also involved in this project throughout the university campus such as paving, external stairs, kerbs, a central fountain , relating walls and fencing.
